Last Tuesday we were just sitting down to eat dinner when we heard a thud outside upon our investigation we found that a limb from our tree had fallen on the power line to our house. This resulted in Jared calling the fire department because the power line was now almost touching the ground. The fire department came and could not do anything, so they called the power company. While they were writing up their report they let Grayson play in and investigate the fire truck . He was very hesitant at first but once he warmed up to the idea he had fun until one of the firemen got into the truck to help him honk the horn then he wanted nothing to do with the fire truck. Well after two days of no power and staying at Jared's parents house as well as one day of fighting with the insurance company to get working on our claim so that we could use our house again. I am happy to say that all is well now maybe even better because the electrical company had to upgrade the voltage we had coming into the house so now our old house is up to code. :) I AM JUST VERY HAPPY THAT NO ONE WAS HURT!! AS YOU CAN SEE GRAYSON'S SLIDE IS RIGHT NEAR THE TREE AND WE HAD BEEN PLAYING OUTSIDE MAYBE A HALF HOUR BEFORE THE TREE FELL!!!!!

 Our friends Charles and Chandra came to help us cut the limb up. Lucky for us they had a chainsaw.
