Our 4th of July

I am ready to get in the pool

 This fourth of July we went to our friends Grandma's house (Grandma Barnes). We didn't make it out there in time for the parade :(  We got there just as it ended. But we had a relaxing day playing in the water and just bumming around. (I did more bumming than anyone, but I have a very good excuse being 7 months pregnant). We lit a few fireworks of our own while waiting for the West Point city firework show to start. It was strange though. It started and they lit about 15 fireworks off then it stopped. We were all very disappointed. We packed everything up, cleaned up and then the show started again. The only thing we can figure is that there was a small fire and they had to put it out before they could finish the show. It is very hot and dry and there are so so many fire restrictions right now.

The pool was perfect for Grayson he could walk around in it but he still wanted a floaty toy.
