Jared's Adventure

   This week has been quite the adventure for Jared!!! Jared started feeling kind of yuck on Sunday, by Tuesday he insisted he needed to go to the Docs. We called and scheduled an appointment his appointment was at 10am which we had to go straight to my doc check up at noon. Well, at Jared's appointment they told us they wanted Jared to go in for a CT scan at 3 at a different clinic. So after picking Grayson up from Jared's Mom at her ceramics class we then went home to give Grayson even a short nap. Then he was off to his friends Nora's house whose Mom Pam said she would watch Grayson so I didn't have to chase him around during the CT scan.
    Well, shortly after the CT scan the Doc called and said that Jared had to go to the hospital. Jared needed to have his appendix out. So, we called Kaye to see if she could pick Grayson up from his friends house. When Jared and I got to the hospital they could not find Jared in the computer for his surgery. We were then sent over to the ER to see if they could figure out where they were supposed to send Jared. Lucky for us they surgeon that we had been told was going to do the surgery was at the ER so it helped speed things along. We found out later that someone at the first Doctors office dropped the ball and did not send anything over to the hospital so that they knew what was going on and what they needed to cut open. So as soon as the CT scan results came over they were able wheel Jared off to help with his tummy problems. 
     I am now happy to report that Jared is now home and doing fine. He is still in a little bit of pain but he is up and moving. He will be back to work and good as new by Monday!! Hopefully he will have far fewer stomach problems than before.
