Summer fun

Well, as it happens we have had a rough go of it this summer. The kids have been sick quite a bit which is not something I am accustom to. I feel like we have spent far too too much time in doctors waiting rooms this summer. It started with Grayson, he got a sinus infection that was oosing out of his eyes (I thought he had pink eye). The next day Kyler woke up with googky eyes so back to the docs we headed. Turns out Kyler had pink eye. Just when I felt we were over everything Kyler ends up with a fever of 102.2!! YIKES!! So we trekked back to the docs again!!! (Now mind you both kids had preventative visits in between all of this!!!) As it happened Kyler had an ear infection as well as a virus. He was feverish and grey and melancholy for about five days!! It also took 5 days for his fever to break!! The poor kid.!! But despite all of this we still managed to have some fun this summer!!

At the begining of the month Jared's brother Jeremiah and his wife Eryn and their little boy Will came to visit from North Carolina. The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins!! It was fun to visit and let the kids play. While outside visiting the next door neighbors sprinklers came on and ALL of the kids ended up in the neighbors yard getting wet!! They started at the fence then eventually just went in their yard. :)

We also went to the Roy Days parade that same weekend we sat at the end of the parade route so the kids ended up with far too much candy!!
