September was a pretty mellow month. I started my first day with children in my class and was very overwhelmed at work for most of the month. Kyler turned 3 on the 13th ! His favorite gifts were his bike, helmet, and giant chair (from Loni and Colby) We did have to break up and tear out our cement patio in the back. It was grated toward the house so every time it rained our basement flooded. I am happy to announce that since tearing it out we have not had a swimming pool in our basement. Oh and I almost forgot the boys got to get their first Horse back ride! Jared's parents neighbor across the street have horses and they were outside riding them and Grayson yelled out them and asked if they could have a ride. Kyler was fearless! Grayson cried and got off and would not get back on until I got on and showed him it was not scary! (secretly I am terrified riding horses because a I was bucked off once) I was actually proud of myself for getting on. I still prefer to appreciate the beauty of horses from a distance.
